Gimme that filet-o-fish, gimme that fish!

I have to work the fish fry at the legion to get some community service hours for NHS tonight with Ashley. Then I'm probably going to Casey's house for girls night... Talent show at school tomorrow! Greeting with Ash :) then Sunday after church I'm prolly going driving with Ed, and then back to his house for a BBQ... and then to Karly and John's youth group with Ed, Mikaela, James and possibly Kris. I haven't seen or talked to John in weeks, so this should be interesting... Wish me luck!

Pale Moon Rising and the...oh what the heck

Auditions for the spring play were today. We are doing like 7 different skits all pertaining to one subject..the darker views of life. So basically, it's all about vampires, werewolves and witches. One of my best friends, Ashley Ray, and I wrote a Twilight parody as a joke for our playwright project in theatre class a couple of months ago. DZ, our director, loved it so she threw it in the spring play and told us that we're going to direct it. So of course, we get to help cast. I really want to play Stella (our version of Bella)... but DZ says I am the exact opposite of how the original Bella is supposed to be played. Haha so I have some work to do if I really want to get cast the part... Wish me luck!!! :D

I know, I know. I haven't posted a blog in forever.

Update numero uno:

Not yesterday, but the Sunday before, I went to this youth rally at my friend's church with some friends from my own church. We got there around 5:40 (20 minutes early because my church's worship team was scheduled to play that night and they needed time to set up) and literally the only people there that were legitimately from my church that are not on the worship team were me, and my friends Taylor and AJ. So we kinda just stood there really awkwardly for a bit haha. But fortunately, our friends Andy and Rachel came over and talked to us, and some other people came over and introduced themselves.. and then Matt (this kid that I had only met twice before, and who had personally invited me to the rally) was standing on the stage getting things ready with his worship team, and he saw me and smiled at me for a long time and waved. Then Neal came over and gave us all hugs! Then right before it actually started we all began mingling with everybody a bit, and things started to get more comfortable, and I swear I met like 398457394 new people and grew closer with like 9248723084 kids I already knew, haha and then we started at 6. And we played two games. We were separated into 4 different teams. Black, blue, red and green.. I was on the black team with Jonathan, Matt Z, Nate W, and Casey. They were literally the only people I knew and the team was huge hahaha. But anyways, it was a fun time getting to know everybody else..... the first game was the balloon popping game and there was this one balloon just floating around and so I hit it, and it hit Jonathan in the face and he turns around and goes "really?" and went to hit it back at me and completely missed so I was just like 'HAHAHA FAIL' and then everyone in between us was laughing and then I hit it again, and accidentally hit Jonathan in the face AGAIN, and he was like 'WOW SERIOUSLY?!' and Ifelt so bad hahaha but it was hilarious. So when I got a little closer he like still had the balloon and he WHAMMED it in my face and he's like 'HAHAHA I GOT YOU BACK :D' hahaha it was wicked funny. But anyways the object of the game (once we actually started) was that we had to tie a balloon of our team color around our ankle and go around and pop everybody else's balloons from the other teams, and try not to get ours popped. Ryne and Cameron attacked me and Casey as soon as we started so we immediately lost hahaha. But luckily I stepped on Ryne's string before I noticed my balloon was popped and ripped it off his ankle and his balloon floated away so he had to run after it and chase it down hahaha ;) Then the next game we played was the name tag game; everyone's name was on a name tag and we got someone else's name other than our own, so we had to go find that person and figure out who they were and then get our name tag and go back to our team spot. By the way our team name was "The Idealists" and our chant was 'oooh eeee oooh ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang' hahahah :D and then we prayed, and our worship team went up and played.. and they played mostly fast songs and like the only people dancing were me, AJ and Taylor at first.. and then Jonathan, Neal and Josh joined in and we started a worship mosh pit. Haha.. and then someone spoke.. about "one love" and then Matt Z's church's worship team went up and played, and we all worshipped, and then someone else spoke, and we prayed more in between all that...and it was all great except for the two chicks sitting behind me, Abbie, Jonathan, and Ryne.. who say CSI is more important than Jesus :/ but anyways..then we worshipped again and then after all that we just fellowshipped with EVERYBODY. And ate snacks. And played kung fu hahaha! And I met like 3457398475 more people!!! And okay so while we were eating, me, Abbie and Josh went and sat in the middle of the floor just the 3 of us (there were like no chairs set out, and the sanctuary is freaking huge) and before we knew it the circle had expanded WICKED big. Omgsh, hahaha and I ended up sitting next to this kid Matt W and Casey. And then Matt Z came over and sat next to me, and he kept complimenting me, which was really sweet. And we were just like, talking and such, and apparently because of this, my youth pastor thinks we have a 'thing' .... according to Abbie hahaha. And then Ricky came and sat with us too. And then Neal and Abbie sang/rapped/danced that song "I've Got A Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas for me. Ilike, had my own concert hahaha. But anyways, this whole thing was supposed to end by 9, but none of us ended up leaving until almost midnight. And even before that we hung out in the parking lot for a bit. And me and Casey sat in a snowbank hahaha. And then me, Cameron, Abbie, Josh, Casey, Alec, Pastor Jonnie, Travis, Austin, Kathryn, Leah, Rachel, Torie, Nate and Matt W, Andy, and another girl named Kathryn all went to Denny's. Which was packed, and a freaking party, and I was so over tired that I was acting drunk so everybody was laughing at me.. hahaaha and I finally got home around 2:30 in the morning and then went to church the next day.


Update #2:

The musical was this past weekend!!!! It went SUPER well, btw. Saturday night's show was my favorite, we had so much fun dancing backstage and singing obnoxiously and picking on Spear. Then a bunch of us went out to Denny's and Ashley and I were so hyper that everyone was making comments that people who don't know us are going to think we were completely baked....hahaha but it was seriously one of the most fun nights ever. And I probably lost about 10 pounds just from laughing so much..haha and then I slept all day yesterday and slept in this morning and ended up going into school late.. but hey I'll post some pictures/videos later!

2010!

So much has been going down lately! I have been such a busy chick. To sum things up though, there have been some recent changes made in my life and some things that I am currently going through that I still need to get used to. But, I believe that everything happens for a reason, and life goes on. It's so crazy to think that everything going on in my life right now is somehow in God's perfect plan, even the bad stuff. Keep me in prayer!
